Job Summary:

As a key member of the HALCON team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing simulation analyses to support concept studies, detail designs, evaluations, and testing in the mechanical engineering department. This role will involve using analysis results to influence and improve designs for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform simulation analyses for concept studies, detail designs, evaluations, and testing as required in the mechanical engineering field;
  • Conduct precise engineering calculations using theoretical methods and computational simulations;
  • Apply analysis and interpretation of results to influence and improve designs;
  • Develop and implement engineering arrangements and revisions;
  • Support the establishment and acceptance of testing processes;
  • Evaluate the performance of mechanical equipment against set performance requirements;
  • Lead and support technical personnel to deliver on their responsibilities as designated by the Lead Engineer.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of related experience, preferably in the aerospace industry;
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or equivalent technical qualification in mechanical or aerospace engineering;
  • Knowledge in the application of CAE in the design process;
  • A thorough understanding of defense product development and production;
  • Strong visual and spatial awareness, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent CAE, math, and Product Data Management skills;
  • Effective technical communication (written and oral) with technical and non-technical personnel, suppliers, and customers.
