Job Summary

ANTAL INTERNATIONAL is seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing steel structures for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze steel structures for buildings, warehouses, and industrial projects.
  • Develop detailed design calculations for steel structures, including connections and shop drawings.
  • Review and manage shop drawings prepared in Tekla and Autocad.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop structural designs.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and identify potential issues.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to determine the strength and stability of structures.
  • Review and approve design changes and modifications based on project requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to structural design.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
  • Communicate and present design concepts and proposals to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Must be well versed in STADDPRO/ETABS software for Steel structure Design.
  • Must be familiar with American and British Steel Design Codes.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
