**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at Finance House. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and enhancing products and services for our Consumer Financial Services division.
Main Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Conceive, develop, and launch market-leading products and services, and strategically plan and manage the entire product portfolio.
- Product Roadmap: Develop short- and long-term product roadmaps, inclusive of functional perspectives of evolving features/capabilities, consolidated views of related technology activities, and business case analysis.
- Client Feedback and Market Analysis: Collate client feedback/segmentation analysis, overall industry/market trends, and regulatory intelligence gathering to drive product and procedure enhancements.
- Product Strategy and Communication: Develop and communicate product strategy, roadmap prioritization, P&L management, and cost and revenue analyses. Design and execute actions to reduce costs/manual processes, enhance revenues, and maximize profitability.
- Efficiency and Innovation: Drive efficiency by providing leadership/design end-to-end solutions to meet business and client objectives. Own product life cycles from development to launch, looking for ways to innovate upon existing products.
- Management Processes: Establish and conduct management processes, including product management meetings, monthly internal financial reviews, and weekly Operations, Technology, and Sales meetings.
- Risk and Compliance: Ensure a pristine risk and control environment and lead Continuity of Business efforts. Oversee all aspects of product-risk-related projects and initiatives. Represent business in all internal and external audit discussions.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (including risk, legal, AML, technology, QA, design, marketing, etc.) to execute on initiatives.
- Customer-Centric Product Delivery: Develop and enhance customer-centric product delivery processes.
- Product Management Strategy: Support development and implementation of a product management strategy according to the company strategy, set goals, and initiate measures to reach these goals and to improve the overall section's performance.
- Leadership and Resource Management: Be responsible for a result-oriented management and development of people and resources, including provision of a strong day-to-day leadership presence involving resource allocation, monitoring, reporting, and conducting regular staff meetings.
- Policies and Procedures: Initiate, develop, implement, and ensure adherence of policies and procedures.
- Product Marketing and Branding: Build and implement Product Marketing/Branding Strategy.
- Product-Related Issues: Be responsible for all product-related issues within the whole organization, in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Partnering Skills: Solid partnering skills, including organization understanding (working seamlessly across formal and informal channels) and balancing aggressive drive with consensus building and listening.
- Product Development Knowledge: Knowledge of the processes necessary to develop, roll-out, and manage products in order to support successful banking and financial product life cycles.
- Regulatory Environment and Competitive Situation: Knowledge of the regulatory environment and competitive situation.
- Professional Know-How: Professional know-how necessary to plan and manage budgets, run a department, campaign, or project.
- Project Management Skills: Knowledge of skills associated with the tools and techniques of planning and running organization projects and processes.
- Business and Technology Knowledge: Sound knowledge and understanding of business and technology.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce/Economics from a reputable University.
Experience:
- Product Management Experience: Years of experience in product management and execution.
