Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive progress and performance analysis reports, identifying areas of concern and suggesting appropriate corrective measures.
  • Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures while meeting regulatory standards.
  • Achieve and maintain ISO certification for the Process section.
  • Review all engineering outputs produced by the EPC contractor concerning process and control systems.
  • Evaluate all system and equipment designs to guarantee safe and efficient operations.
  • Provide on-site process engineering expertise during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Act as the Technical Authority for process discipline engineering within the organization, mediating technical disputes between conflicting parties.
  • Offer Process Engineering expertise for the creation and approval of Key Documents (Philosophies, Policies, Design Basis) for all project activities, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Support, develop, and review Process Engineering standards, codes of practice, and technical specifications to align with current legislation, best practices, and lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Identify, investigate, and recommend innovative technical solutions and enhancements to improve the achievement of business objectives.
  • Ensure that Process Engineering representation and expertise are available for essential support during HSE-driven studies and workshops.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas sector.
