Lead Process Engineer

At Wood, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our process engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, preparation of specifications, and analysis of process engineering requirements on a project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Specification: Engage in the design and preparation of specifications for process engineering requirements on a project.
  • Documentation Review: Review and approve key process documentation from EPC Contractors to ensure proposed designs meet technical requirements.
  • Tender and Proposal Support: Support tender or proposal activities as per client standards, international codes, and project scope of work.
  • Process Engineering Design: Plan and support process engineering design for field process engineering requirements, preparation of basic design, data sheets, specifications, and support on design deliverables.
  • Quality Management: Ensure that the design is carried out as per industry standard practices and in conformance with the quality management system.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Proposal and Pre-Qualification: Assist in the preparation of project proposals and pre-qualification documents related to process engineering design.
  • Issue Identification: Identify issues that impede project progress and report to project managers and process discipline managers.
  • Technology and Standards: Assimilate the evolution of new products and technology, and update oneself on the latest international standards in terms of engineering design practices and their applications.
  • Methodology and Productivity: Identify new methodologies of work process required for higher productivity.
  • Team Leadership: As Lead Discipline Engineer, when assigned on projects, responsible for managing the team of engineers, designers, and delivering the engineering requirements of the project.
