Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning Equipment Operator to join our Housekeeping team at Marriott International. As a key member of the housekeeping department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Washing and disinfecting kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly, and rotating stock.
  • Ensuring clean wares are stored in appropriate areas.

You will also be responsible for using detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes.

In addition, you will inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing.

Other responsibilities include racking and spraying all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue, sorting, soaking, and washing/re-washing silverware, breaking down dirty bus tubs, emptying and maintaining trashcans and dumpster area, and cleaning and mopping all areas in assigned departments.
