Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corrosion Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing projects related to material selection, chemical treatment, corrosion monitoring, and protective coatings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corrosion engineering and materials science, with a proven track record of delivering results in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development: Develop conceptual design options for corrosion mitigation and control systems, and recommend and design studies to evaluate and identify the most appropriate and cost-effective design concepts.
  2. Technical Expertise: Utilize various software related to corrosion and materials issues, and develop a deep understanding of corrosion mechanisms and materials behavior.
  3. Project Leadership: Lead the investigation of technical and commercial aspects of project work as related to corrosion mitigation and control systems, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and quality standards.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrosion control strategies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  5. Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent.
  • Preferable higher degree in Corrosion Engineering & Materials.
  • Certified NACE Specialist in any of the Four available NACE Specializations.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in corrosion control and mitigation in oil & gas processing facilities.
