Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Design and Drafting: Lead the development of specifications, cost estimates, and tender documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant codes of practice and industry standards.
  • Structural Design: Conduct conceptual and detailed structural designs for bridges and other infrastructure projects, utilizing expertise in structural steel, pre-stressed and reinforced concrete.
  • Inspections and Quality Control: Conduct bridge and culvert inspections, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and implementing quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional Registration: Professional Engineer registration is highly desirable.
  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years' experience as a Professional Civil Engineer in a transport infrastructure environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD packages and other design software packages, as well as Microsoft Office skills.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
