We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Islamic private banking and wealth management division. As the Head of Islamic Coverage and Private Banking, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the business, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow the Islamic private banking division, including identifying new business opportunities, expanding market share, and building relationships with high-net-worth individuals and key clients.
- Financial Management: Oversee the execution of financial transactions that comply with Islamic principles, including Sharia-compliant financing, investment, and risk management techniques.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals, including setting performance goals, providing mentorship and support, and evaluating employee performance.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to Islamic finance, and manage risk to protect the bank's assets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.
- Experience: 12 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, with at least 5 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in Islamic retail and private banking.
