Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team at Shangri-La Group. As an ELV Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the reliable operation of equipment and effective performance of Audio, Video & Lighting systems, maintenance & testing, including log bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Audio Visual equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • System Integration: Integrate Audio Visual systems with other hotel systems, including wiring, cabling, and network connectivity.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to meet guest requirements, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Log Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and testing.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist the shift operation as needed, working closely with other team members to ensure seamless hotel operations.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of ELV and AV systems, including wiring, cabling, and integration with other systems.
  • Firesafety Knowledge: Familiarity with firesafety protocols and procedures.
  • Hotel Operations Background: Preferably, a background in hotel operations, with experience in technical maintenance and repair.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Teamwork: Friendly, helpful, and trustworthy team member, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
