Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ESG Data Strategist and Manager to join our team at ALDAR. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our ESG data strategy, managing our ESG data management system, and providing insights to inform sustainability-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement ESG Data Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive ESG data strategy that aligns with ALDAR's sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Manage ESG Data Management System: Manage our ESG data management system to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and assurance.
  • Provide Insights and Analysis: Analyze ESG data and provide insights to inform sustainability-driven decision-making, including progress reporting, benchmarking, and gap identification.
  • Develop and Maintain ESG Risk Register: Develop and maintain ALDAR's ESG risk register, identifying, evaluating, monitoring, and reporting on major risks and compliance issues.
  • Support Sustainability Reporting: Support regular internal and external sustainability reporting, providing consistent and credible ESG data and narrative.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Collaborate with internal teams to bridge the ESG data and disclosure gap.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure the monitoring of compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to the function.
  • Lead ESG Data Assurance: Lead ESG data assurance with the assurance provider and internal data owners.
  • Develop ESG Policies: Support the development of ALDAR's ESG policies, aligning with leading practices and ESG ratings.
  • Identify Sustainability Certifications: Identify appropriate sustainability certifications for ALDAR and ensure their attainment at the most advantageous cost possible.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in sustainability management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ESG data management, sustainability reporting, and risk management.
