Duncan & Ross is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining our server virtualization infrastructure and architecture.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Implementation: Design and implement server virtualization infrastructure and architecture to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Virtual Machine Management: Build, configure, and deploy virtual machines (VMs) and templates, and fine-tune VM configurations to achieve the best performance/resource consumption.
- Issue Detection and Resolution: Detect and resolve virtual machine issues, and maintain ownership of standards and requirements.
- Patch Management: Manage ESXi and VM patch updates to ensure the security and integrity of our virtualized infrastructure.
- Capacity Planning: Regularly check capacity for the infrastructure and plan tasks for the team to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Documentation and Inventory: Document processes and procedures, and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory and documentation.
- Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot complex issues and document incident resolution for all related incidents.
- Access Management: Administer accounts, network rights, and access to OT/ICS Cybersecurity systems and equipment.
- Security Maintenance: Maintain baseline system security for OT/ICS Cybersecurity Systems and supported infrastructure according to organizational policies and operational standards.
- Cybersecurity Activities: Perform related cybersecurity activities, including visiting sites to conduct security assessments and implement security measures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: More than 10 years of experience in information security and ISMS/CSMS development and implementation, with at least 5 years of experience in IT/OT Cybersecurity consultancy/operation, preferably in the oil and gas domain.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience with security frameworks and standards.
- Certifications: Professional security certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISA 62443 fundamentals, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor.
