The Etihad Rail Operating Companies is seeking a highly skilled Track Geometry Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Track Reliability team, you will provide expert technical advice in analysis, validation, review, interrogation, and interpretation of track recording data.
You will analyze the data collected by the recording systems and provide detailed technical reports to enable preventative/predictive maintenance decisions. Additionally, you will ensure rail measurements are captured for future rail replacement strategies and perform necessary adjustments or measurements on production equipment.
As a Track Geometry Engineer, your responsibilities will include continuously monitoring and controlling the geometry outcome to ensure data and system integrity. You will also act on measurement errors, analyzing, repairing, or following up as needed.
In this role, you will serve as the process geometry expert representative during projects and participate in working with measuring equipment, including quality assurance measuring systems and new measuring machines.
You will be responsible for ensuring track recording systems are available to deliver the recording program of works, supervising and performing general preventative maintenance inspections, calibration, and validation of recording systems.
This position requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in MS Office programs. If you have relevant industry experience, knowledge of applicable discipline-based railway standards, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
