We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at TECNIMONT. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with our home office and site teams, as well as various subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Site Engineering Updates: Manage and control site underground engineering updates to minimize project timing and cost impacts.
  • Site Technical Queries: Respond promptly to site technical queries raised by the construction subcontractor's team.
  • Material Approval: Approve material approval requests submitted by subcontractors.
  • Isometric Drawings: Review subcontractor-provided isometric drawings for gravity networks.
  • Shop Drawings: Review subcontractor-provided shop drawings for items such as gratings, manhole covers, and trenching.
  • Coordination Meetings: Attend coordination and technical resolution meetings to ensure project progress.
  • Local Purchase Requests: Prepare local purchase requests for material shortages or delays due to shipping.
  • Interference Queries: Respond to interference queries with clients and other contractors.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A university degree or diploma in civil engineering or equivalent.
Experience

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience in industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.
  • A proven track record in a similar role, with at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
