Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Learn and adapt the course curriculum to ensure it meets the industry's latest standards.
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Teach students the various cosmetology skills and provide guidance and support to help them succeed.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Set out lesson plans, order stock supplies, and conduct written and practical tests to assess student progress.
  • Student Support: Mentor students, provide emotional support, and oversee examinations and final practical tests.
  • Course Feedback: Provide feedback to the college or technical school on course effectiveness and student performance.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A valid DHA license and specified training for the procedure from a DHA-approved training centre or an internationally recognized entity.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience working as a beauty therapist and previous experience as a cosmetology instructor.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to handle stressful situations, and a patient and understanding approach.
