Join Our Team as a Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Blue Jay Dental in Fremont, OH.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and dental charting.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care using established dental hygiene procedures.
  • Take patient vital signs and perform routine treatment procedures, such as cleaning and polishing.
  • Take radiographs required for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Apply sealants and fluorides to prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and document patient dental history and chief complaints.
  • Teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques and provide education on preventing tooth decay and gum disease.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments, and complete treatment plans as prescribed by the dentist.
  • Review and explain treatment plans and associated fees with patients.
  • Articulate patient concerns to the dentist and serve as a primary treatment coordinator.
  • Ancillary duties as needed.

Qualifications:

We require a reliable individual with a completed dental hygiene certificate program or associate's degree in dental hygiene and a current hygienist license for the state of North Carolina.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate independent thinking, good judgment, and the ability to formulate, affect, interpret, and implement operating practices.

They will also demonstrate a teamwork approach, initiative, dependability, and promptness, with the ability to perform frequent repetitive work with attention to detail.
