Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced senior business development manager to join our team at Kanoo Energy. As a senior business development manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the Middle East region, as well as developing and implementing strategic business plans to achieve our company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Planning: Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve our company goals and drive sales growth.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify business opportunities and customer needs.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including existing and potential customers.
  • Product Promotion and Development: Promote and develop existing and new products/principals within the region, in collaboration with our product development team.
  • Financial Performance: Meet and exceed financial targets through strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competition by analyzing market trends, pricing, products, and merchandising techniques.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a sales pipeline and prepare forecasts against financial budgets and future business prospects.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales performance and provide insights on market trends and competitor activity.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Middle East Experience: Must have proven experience in the Middle East, with a strong understanding of the local market and customer base.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, working with key stakeholders.
  • Chemical Products: Strong understanding of chemical products and their applications.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Petrochemical Engineering.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Computer Applications: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant computer applications.
  • Presentation Skills: Smart, presentable, and enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and deliver results.
