TAAHEED is partnering with a leading Banking group to attract top talent for their Global Wealth area. We are seeking a high-calibre Compliance professional to support the Head of Compliance in ensuring the activities of Private Banking are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide decision support and assist in the development, implementation, and compliance-related administration of Private Banking activities.
- Conduct desktop monitoring activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Upload quality assurance requirements on cases submitted by Relationship Managers.
- Offer advice on the implementation of new and/or amended regulations and policies from regulators.
- Perform daily transaction monitoring and raise queries/reports on suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with the Manager to ensure fulfillment of all regulatory requirements and adherence to standards set by the Central Bank of UAE.
- Prepare and issue the weekly Compliance Bulletin summary.
- University graduate with relevant qualifications.
- Experience and awareness in compliance, auditing operations, and administration procedures in the financial services industry, with circa 4 years.
- Sound knowledge of the wealth management and compliance industries, stemming from a financial institutions background.
- Preference will be given to candidates from the Private Banking/Wealth Management industry.
- Relevant experience in Anti Money Laundering and Compliance Monitoring.
- Local market knowledge of the UAE/GCC, preferably also international centres.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual – In English and Arabic (preferred).
