Program Summary
The Field Rep Development Program focuses on building the skills and knowledge necessary to partner with Cat Dealers and drive strategy alignment and customer loyalty.
- This 1–3 year developmental program provides customized development plans to understand and learn Caterpillar machines, organizations, and values.
- The program consists of training and rotations throughout Caterpillar, learning about different company initiatives and products to help advance in the field position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industry Sales Representative (Building Construction Products Division):
- Support, market, and sell machines or engines throughout the machine/engine sales cycle.
- Counsel dealers to develop and increase their performance.
- Increase customer satisfaction through supporting products in the field.
- Minimize the technical and commercial impact of customer complaints.
- Advance aftermarket parts and service sales in the field.
- Drive revenue and growth for the aftermarket solutions business.
- Assist Cat Dealerships in increasing operational efficiency.
- Improve a dealership's ability to efficiently service customer equipment and manage parts inventory.
Required Qualifications:
- A marketing or engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Will travel 25%–70% depending on the role.
- Proficient in English.
