This role involves managing collections and maintaining the allocated Receivables Outstanding in accordance with approved credit terms. The ideal candidate will strive to exceed desired cash flow targets.

Main Tasks
  • Ensuring the Receivables statement reflects a true and fair picture at all times is a key responsibility.
  • Payment follow-up with clients is essential to ensure timely collections.
  • Meeting collecting targets is critical to ensure customer ageing/over dues are within targeted norms.
Communication with Clients
  • The Automated Pending Invoices statement is sent to all clients after month-end closure.
  • Making telephone calls to clients prior to due dates to follow up/seek payment for due/overdue invoices is crucial.
  • Regular follow-up emails/reminders/chase letters are sent to delaying clients.
  • Visits are made to customers in person (whenever necessary) to resolve disputes relating to unpaid invoices.
