Job Summary

Xeluxe Fire Safety Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Smoke Management Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing expert services to clients in the field of HVAC Smoke Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering reviews for HVAC Smoke Management systems and guide consultants and contractors on achieving code compliance.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction contractors to integrate and optimize HVAC Smoke management systems in building designs.
  • Review and assess technical documentation and system reports for compliance.
  • Conduct and supervise installations, ensuring conformity with engineering designs and standards.
  • Site visits may be required as part of the job profile.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Building Code, Saudi Fire Code, NFPA Codes/Standards, and local UAE fire and Safety codes.
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE, NEMA, SMACNA, API standards, and Client General Standards design codes and standards.
  • Working knowledge in the use of AutoCAD or Micro station Software.
  • Ability to lead effective meetings and negotiate terms to benefit the organization.
  • Specialized courses in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer are highly desired.
  • Professional certifications from recognized bodies such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) or similar are highly desired but not mandatory.
