About the Role
NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager for Student Experience to join the Stern at NYUAD team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Associate Director of Student Experience and Advising in all aspects of student engagement and operations of the Stern at NYUAD one-year MBA program.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of all class modules and provide administrative and operational support on all things related to program delivery, including class logistics and technology, student living, new student orientation, and various events throughout the year.
- Provide administrative support to MBA student groups, student leadership, and student events, ensuring compliance with Stern at NYUAD and NYUAD guidelines and policies.
- Track contracts and expenses related to catering, student employees, books and materials, and other program needs, and liaise with external vendors to resolve payment issues if they arise.
- Supervise student workers, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance, and implement the feedback process for the MBA program, preparing reports on student enrollment statistics and other data for both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience in academic program management in higher education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong project management, detail orientation, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration or Business.
- Knowledge of program and event coordination, and curriculum development, with the ability to collect and analyze data to ensure the quality and legitimacy of data in Stern at NYU and NYUAD systems.
