Aldar Training Academy is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Excellence Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Education team, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of our students through various academic programs and initiatives.



As a manager of talent development, your primary goal will be to create and implement a comprehensive talent program that promotes and celebrates students' achievements across various subject specialisms. This will involve working closely with school teams, coordinators, and external partners to coordinate talent workshops, ECAs, and ASAs.



This role will also involve overseeing the production of termly newsletters and developing social media opportunities to showcase student achievements. You will work closely with the academy team to promote competitions and events, including the end-of-year AoE presentation awards ceremony.



Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a database of AoE students and their relative contributions. You will also support the team with administrative duties, including liaison with marketing, finance, and HR departments.



To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will also need to have a high level of professionalism and be able to maintain a high standard of behavior at all times.

Main Duties:

Student Achievement and Talent Development


  • Create, develop, and implement an inclusive talent program that promotes and celebrates students' achievements across various subject specialisms.
  • Work with school teams, coordinators, and external partners to coordinate talent workshops, ECAs, and ASAs.
  • Oversee the production of termly newsletters and develop social media opportunities to showcase student achievements.
  • Work with the academy team to promote competitions and events, including the end-of-year AoE presentation awards ceremony.
  • Maintain a database of AoE students and their relative contributions.

Student Enrichment and Community Programs


  • Work with the coordinators of the Academy of Excellence (AoE) and other associated academies to promote student achievement.
  • Create, develop, and implement a junior version of AoE for gifted and talented junior students across AE schools.
  • Work with school teams and external partners to support the AoE Sport Talent Identification and Development Pathway.
  • Coordinate and oversee the promotion of additional specialist lessons for AE schools by partnering with established and new providers.
  • Establish the creation and development of holiday camps and competitions across AE and externally.
  • Promote ATA and raise its profile in Abu Dhabi and beyond.


Other Responsibilities


  • Attend Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training as required.
  • Work with the ATA team and external agencies to develop appropriate staff training courses on student achievement and school improvement.
  • Support school leaders to support inspection preparation and outcomes related to student achievement.
  • Support the wider education team in meeting group strategic aims.
  • Participate in the Aldar Education continuous performance review (appraisal) scheme and work towards achieving and exceeding targets set.
