About the Role

Talent Pal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Admissions and Student Recruitment Officer to join our team in Dubai. As a key member of our Business Development and Engagement team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth admissions process for applicants and supporting the recruitment of students to our Dubai campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Admissions Processing
    • Process applications for any admissions route to the University from initial application to registration.
    • Review applications, make decisions, issue offers, deal with applicant replies, manage fulfillment of conditions, and process confirmation decisions.
    • Ensure all decisions meet agreed criteria and comply with internal University regulations and external regulations.
  • Student Recruitment Activity
    • Follow up on enquiries from prospective students and other potential stakeholders via outbound telephone calls and emails.
    • Manage the student recruitment pipeline from enquiry to registration and contribute to overall student recruitment numbers.
    • Book recruitment events and organize logistics.
    • Provide logistical support for Dubai-related events, including open days, applicant visit days, virtual events, and other recruitment events.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work with colleagues across the Business Development and Engagement area, Admissions Office, and other Professional Services to provide a service that meets the demands of applicants and other stakeholders.
    • Provide data as required through the admissions cycle.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide an efficient and effective service to applicants and internal stakeholders to agreed levels of performance.
    • Deal with queries from a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Understand the importance of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Educated to at least A level or equivalent (or substantial relevant experience) with a minimum of GCSE grade C in Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
  • Understanding and prior experience of the admissions marketing and recruitment processes in the Higher Education sector.
  • Demonstrable evidence of exhibiting the values and behaviors consistent with the University and External Relations frameworks.
  • Excellent reporting and excel skills.
  • Experience of working to demanding deadlines and under pressure.
  • Ability to operate effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
