Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Modeler specializing in Architectural and Structural projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust educational background and extensive experience in the field.

Qualifications
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree or a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Revit, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the latest Revit versions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in both 2D and 3D CAD design (AutoCAD and Revit), with a focus on Infrastructure and Utilities projects such as bridges, tunnels, pump stations, irrigation systems, and sewerage.
  • Project Management: Ability to establish new Revit project files for the team, showcasing strong problem-solving capabilities and multitasking skills.
  • Revit Family Production: Experience in producing Revit Families tailored to project specifications.
  • Standards Maintenance: Capable of maintaining a library of Revit families/objects and conducting clash detection in Revit.
  • Working Drawings: Strong computer skills with a proven track record of producing working drawings in Revit.
  • Advanced Revit Knowledge: Expertise in parametric modeling, Bill of Material generation, assemblies, and creation of families.
  • Federated Models: Advanced skills in creating a federated model using Revit Links and managing Revit Worksets.
  • BIM Tools: Proficient in various BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration platforms.
  • Project Experience: Significant experience in high-rise, multi-story, shopping malls, and commercial projects.
  • Structural Knowledge: Familiarity with structural concepts is advantageous.
  • Essential Tools: Experience with Revit Structure, Dynamo, Navisworks, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.
  • Preferred Tools: Knowledge of ProjectWise, Synchro, Bluebeam Studio, Autodesk Inventor Professional, Sketchup, and 3D Max.
  • BIM Standards: Understanding of BIM codes and standards, including ISO 19650, PAS 1192-2, and BS 1192.
  • General BIM Model Requirements: Knowledge of LOD, naming conventions, and parametric modeling.
