Canonical Cairo, Egypt is an ambitious startup seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in securing the company's financial future.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies for seed and Series A rounds within a given timeframe.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with angel investors, venture capital firms, and other potential investors.
  3. Create compelling pitch decks and investor presentations.
  4. Structure and negotiate investment terms.
  5. Establish investor relations protocols and communications.
  6. Collaborate with the leadership team on financial modeling and business planning.
  7. Secure strategic partnerships in the first year post funding.
  8. Generate partnership-driven revenue or value equivalent to set targets.

Required Qualifications:
  1. 6 years of experience in startup fundraising, venture capital, or investment banking.
  2. Proven track record of successfully closing investment rounds.
  3. Strong network within the investment community.
  4. Excellence in financial modeling and valuation.
  5. Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
