Net Zero Procurement Specialist

As a key member of the ADNOC team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company's net-zero e-procurement platform development and expansion. This involves identifying the lowest carbon suppliers and ensuring sustainable operations and practices.
Key Accountabilities:
Job Specific Accountabilities:
- Enable ADNOC to reduce emissions by identifying and collaborating with the lowest carbon suppliers, thereby reducing operational Green House Gas (GHG) emission intensity.
- Ensure that ADNOC's supply chain decarbonization opportunities are thoroughly inventoried.
- Provide strategic guidance and best practices on net-zero procurement to enhance carbon capture, utilization, and storage, minimizing environmental impact.
- Support the development and expansion of the net-zero e-procurement platform.
- Integrate risk management across all operations and business planning to ensure fair, transparent, and risk-conscious business operations and governance.

Supervision:
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver respective business objectives.
Budgets:
- Provide input for preparation of function/division/department/section budgets, assist in implementation of approved budgets, and work plans to deliver business objectives.
- Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:
- Implement approved function/division/department/section policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to support execution of work programs in line with company and international standards.
Performance Management:
- Contribute to achievement of approved performance objectives for function/division/department/section in line with company performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability:
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices, and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports:
- Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for company management.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environment/Engineering/Science (discipline)
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills:
- 10 years of professional experience
- Monitoring of GHG emissions
- Accounting of scope 1, scope 2, scope 3 emissions from across oil and gas value chain
- Understanding of GHG reporting protocols and disclosure standards
- Verification of GHG emissions and boundaries
- Understanding of oil and gas value chain
- Understanding of life cycle emissions of processes and products
