The Junior HVAC Service Engineer plays a vital role under the supervision of the Operations Manager within the Aftermarket HVAC Segment. This position is essential for executing service, maintenance, and retrofit projects related to Building Technologies and Solutions, particularly focusing on HVAC Systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior HVAC Service Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks related to the implementation of HVAC systems, including but not limited to:

  • Establishing and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Coordinating activities on-site among customers, subcontractors, supervisors, and both field and office teams.
  • Monitoring and executing scheduled Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks.
  • Managing assigned jobs, including testing, commissioning, and providing timely progress updates.
  • Submitting necessary reports promptly to facilitate invoicing processes.

You will collaborate with a team that offers a dynamic environment, allowing you to enhance your technical and project management skills.

Execution Strategy

As an integral member of the team, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing essential technical assistance to ensure smooth job execution.
  • Collecting updates on ongoing projects and reporting them to the Operations Manager weekly.
  • Following up on billing for completed jobs in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring timely ordering of parts and materials while tracking their delivery.

You will engage with all relevant parties to guarantee timely reporting, transparency, and prompt resolution of any site-related challenges. Your role will heavily emphasize the technical aspects of HVAC systems. While formal training will be provided, a significant portion of your learning will occur in the field through self-study and mentorship from experienced colleagues.

Additionally, you will showcase your expertise by conducting training on system operations and preparing handover documentation to ensure a seamless transition for customers, all while upholding high safety standards for yourself and subcontractors.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements


• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.


• 0-1 year of experience or internship in Mechanical or HVAC systems.


• Results-driven, persistent, self-motivated, and customer-oriented.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Proficient in business analysis.


• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse personalities and work styles.


• Fluency in English is mandatory.


• Strong analytical abilities.
