The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the discipline of Civil Engineering, with a focus on Highway and Transportation Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality courses to students in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Highway and Transportation Engineering.
- Evaluate and monitor individual student progress, providing feedback to improve and sustain student success.
- Conduct research and publish in reputable journals, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
- Support curriculum development and course management, ensuring alignment with the University's standards.
- Engage in quality assurance and quality enhancement activities, promoting excellence in teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- PhD in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record of teaching and research experience in Highway and Transportation Engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ability to teach a variety of specialized courses in General Engineering mechanics and statistics.
- Ability to teach construction management and other courses related to Civil Engineering specializations is a plus.
