Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct daily store visits as per route plan to ensure optimal product placement and display.
  2. Maintain exceptional merchandising and hygiene standards, adhering to company training and guidelines.
  3. Place orders accurately to guarantee stock levels, receive deliveries, and arrange warehouse and selling area storage.
  4. Verify promotion activations, ensuring Point of Sale Material (POSM) availability during promotional periods.
  5. Manage monthly physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
  6. Monitor Self-Service pack expiry dates to prevent stock obsolescence.
  7. Implement the Goods Received Verification (GRV) process to ensure accurate inventory management.
  8. Develop in-depth knowledge of products and planograms to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.
  9. Apply sales principles and customer service practices to drive business growth and customer loyalty.
  10. Ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) of products to maintain product freshness and quality.
  11. Coordinate with logistics teams for timely deliveries and manage inventory levels.
  12. Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly reports to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  13. Report on running promotions and provide insights to inform future marketing strategies.
  14. Collect receivables within payment terms and collaborate with the finance department.
  15. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and feedback.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Merchandising Specialist or in a similar role within the FMCG sector.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  4. Attention to detail with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities to drive business results.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office applications, with experience in merchandising software a plus.
  6. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
