The Boissinot Laboratory at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral Associate to conduct comparative genomics analyses on a diverse range of organisms.
Job DescriptionThe successful applicant will focus on identifying genes and genomic features that have evolved adaptively, as well as the evolution of transposable elements in a phylogenetic context.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an autonomous line of research related to the interests of the lab in evolutionary genomics.
Requirements- A Ph.D. degree in Biology
- Significant experience in comparative genomics, phylogenetics, or transposable elements biology
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
