Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Journey Level Welder to join our team at Sulzer. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metalwork and welding services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of welding processes, including cutting, welding, and fabrication of various metal and alloy components.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Certification: Ability to learn and pass various weld certification tests, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints, and apply knowledge of weld rods, weld wire, and weld equipment settings.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess basic hand tools, basic precision measuring tools, and proper safety shoes and attire, as specified by the facility requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of a related apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
  • Skills: Basic math skills, with the ability to apply knowledge in a practical setting.
