**Job Summary**

McDermott Dubai is seeking a skilled Metallurgy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality metalwork products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Interpret Engineering Blueprints**: Carefully review and interpret engineering blueprints to understand design specifications and requirements.
  • **Measure and Mark Cutting Lines**: Accurately measure and mark cutting and bending lines on metalwork materials to ensure precise fabrication.
  • **Setup Metalwork Machinery**: Safely set up and operate metalwork machinery, including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears, to fabricate metal components.
  • **Verify Design Specifications**: Double-check design specifications before commencing with cutting work to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • **Fabricate Metal Components**: Fabricate and construct metal components to meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • **Grind and Finish Products**: Grind and finish completed products to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • **Perform Quality Checks**: Conduct quality checks on completed products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • **Comply with Safety Regulations**: Conform to state and company safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
