Key Responsibilities

  • Set-up and Preparation
    • Ensure that all stations and tables are set up according to established standards.
  • Guest Interaction

    • Communicate with guests in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Assist the captain in presenting the menu, making recommendations, and taking orders.
    • Serve food and beverage items in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Buffet Management
    • Ensure that the buffet area is kept clean and free of debris.
    • Coordinate and assist with the clearing of tables and stations.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Coordinate and supervise the return of dirty linen.
    • Assist the kitchen in clearing the buffet area.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Attend communication meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required by department managers.
    • Keep the Supervisor informed of all guest comments and complaints.
  • Personal and Professional Development
    • Maintain a neat and clean uniform, adhering to the standards of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
    • Ensure good personal grooming and hygiene at all times.
