Job Description

The Digital and Social Media Manager will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various platforms. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can drive brand awareness, enhance engagement, and generate leads through targeted campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute digital marketing plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand messaging.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage social media, content, and influencer activity across Edelman's digital programs.
  3. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing best-in-class service and handling requests efficiently.
  4. Lead integrated projects from start to finish, including resource management, project coordination, budget control, and client liaison.
  5. Drive digital innovation, identifying opportunities on existing clients and new business prospects, and working closely with finance to forecast and analyze results.
  6. Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring high-quality digital output and meeting deadlines.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  1. A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in digital and social media within an agency, marketing firm, or editorial digital publisher.
  2. Strong leadership skills, confidence, and representational abilities, along with excellent management skills.
  3. A proven track record in content and social strategies, audience planning, community management, and innovative technologies.
  4. Experience working with both consumer and B2B clients.
  5. A passion for leveraging digital channels to amplify campaigns, partnering with clients, unlocking local opportunities, and exceeding client expectations.
  6. Familiarity with managing executive profile pages.
