Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of procurement specialists to ensure efficient support to customer departments.
- Negotiate and manage complex contracts and tenders, including sourcing, pre-qualification, and evaluation of suppliers.
- Develop and maintain a work programme of contracts due for negotiation, identifying opportunities for cost improvement.
- Proactively search for and identify opportunities for cost reduction, benchmarking performance against available statistics/indicators.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics, preferably in a senior management role.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics operations.
