This role is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to oversee the logistics operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and freight logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly assess policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure they align with supply chain requirements.
  • Develop and implement process workflows for stock movements, ensuring efficient and accurate tracking.
  • Analyze new market requirements and present logistical challenges to the corporate team for consultation and decision-making.

The successful candidate will provide end-to-end visibility of inventory from source to store, ensuring timely and accurate tracking. They will manage purchase orders (POs) with 100% accuracy, ensuring timely release and processing.

Maintain proper documentation for timely clearance of containers from ports, ensuring smooth supply chain operations. Work with warehouse teams to ensure timely receiving and launching of inventory into stores.

Monitor and report on shortages, excesses, and damages, and pursue claims as necessary. Identify opportunities for automation and improvement in supply chain processes, implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Create weekly inventory forecasts, ensuring actuals align with forecasts and minimizing discrepancies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions on inventory movement and optimize supply chain operations.

Regularly review freight and logistics costs, ensuring they are under control and aligned with budgets. Analyze supply chain volume and cost reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management through MIS reports.

Ensure 100% adherence to Group Supply Chain policies, working closely with the Corporate Supply Chain team. This position requires a mid-senior level professional with expertise in supply chain management, logistics, and analytical skills.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with experience in a similar role. This position is suitable for a retail industry expert with a passion for logistics and procurement.
