Job Overview

About the Role:

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of technical expertise in rotating equipment engineering. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of high-level technical expertise in rotating equipment engineering, requiring analytical, interpretative, and constructive thinking with a significant degree of evaluative judgement, to ensure the highest level of engineering integrity, reliability, and safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee rotating equipment engineering during the detailed engineering phase, covering all aspects of design to ensure technical and safety objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, and schedule.

• Ensure maximum reliability and availability of all rotating equipment in the early design stage.

• Lead the selection and sizing of rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, and turbines, to meet project requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement technical solutions to complex rotating equipment engineering problems.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years' experience working in the field of rotating equipment at FEED/EPC stages in the oil and gas industry with exposure to onshore oil and gas processing facilities in the greenfield and brownfield projects with at least 6 years at a lead position.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of rotating equipment, including auxiliaries and controls, based on industry best practices.

• Experience with rotating equipment processing sour fluids and high-pressure fluids.

• Experience with utilities systems.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

• Diploma: Engineer or equivalent.

• Language: English.
