Company Overview:
This organization is actively involved in the exploration, production, transportation, and marketing of crude oil and natural gas. It operates across various segments including Upstream, Downstream, and Corporate. The Upstream segment focuses on the exploration and production of crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids. The Downstream segment is dedicated to refining, logistics, power generation, and the marketing of crude oil, petroleum, and petrochemical products, along with related services for both international and domestic clients. The Corporate segment provides essential support services such as human resources, finance, and information technology.

Position Summary:
This role is crucial for individuals with substantial hands-on experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly concerning rotating machinery. As a pivotal member of the engineering team, you will utilize your knowledge in manufacturing schematics, CNC 5-Axis machining, and CAD/CAM software to ensure the upkeep and repair of critical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical expertise in the production of spare components for rotating machinery, encompassing process selection, manufacturing strategies, and CAM programming.
  • Provide technical advice to Shops, Operating Repair Units, and Contractor Shops.
  • Assist in the field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating machinery.
  • Diagnose, repair, and modify existing machinery while identifying cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements.
  • Prepare engineering design packages for rotating machinery.
  • Conduct technical assessments for shop repair return jobs, determining root causes and corrective measures.
  • Adopt and implement cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.
  • Develop and update departmental technical procedures and standards.
  • Mentor and share expertise with junior engineers, quality inspectors, and technicians.
  • Provide technical input for procurement specifications, including evaluation of technical proposals.
  • Collaborate with departmental engineers, Consulting Services Department (CSD), and other company divisions and manufacturers.
  • Coordinate with In-House Repair Units, Quality Assurance units, contractors, and vendors for shop repair scopes.
  • Engage in vendor and customer exchange meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Relocation Requirement: This position necessitates the candidate to permanently relocate.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on the mechanical design and production of major rotating machinery.
  • Proficiency in CNC 5-Axis machining and CAD/CAM applications such as NX Siemens and SolidWorks.
  • Experience in reverse engineering is highly desirable.
  • Ability to train and develop junior engineers.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
