Responsibilities:

  1. Reservation Management: Process all reservation requests promptly and accurately to established standards.
  2. Product Knowledge: Remain fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities, and services.
  3. Sales Conversion: Ensure proactive sales conversion on target-based selling strategies and objectives, cross-selling all elements of the hotel.
  4. Reservation Conversion Rate: Achieve the highest reservation conversion rate with minimum calls lost.
  5. Sales Attitude: Adopt a sales attitude at all times and maintain awareness of sales opportunities within the hotel.
  6. Tentative Bookings: Follow up on all tentative bookings from the Sales department to ensure minimum wash to our holding business and that all bookings are legitimate with guaranteed liabilities.
  7. Group Attrition: Be responsible for groups attrition, ensuring daily checks on group wash or updates and maintaining DRS.
  8. Product Knowledge: Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and local area.
  9. Availability and Rate Controls: Adhere to pre-set availability, rate controls, and promotional activities.
  10. No-Shows and Cancellations: Update no-shows and cancellations on all OTAs without fail to avoid unwanted commissions.
  11. Rate Parity: Be responsible for maintaining rate parity across all booking channels.
  12. Communication: Develop and maintain a high level of communication with all major sources of business and advise the Director of Revenue Strategy on feedback where necessary.
  13. Daily Arrivals: Check daily arrivals and inform concerned personnel of any missing information.
  14. Reports: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on conversion, total revenue captured, and up-selling target achievements.
  15. Group Pre-Arrival Process: Assist in preparing the group pre-arrival process and group rooming lists when directed.
  16. Inbound and Outbound Calls: Manage inbound and outbound calls effectively.
