SynopsisThis job offers a fulfilling career as either a Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) or a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) within the B777 fleet at Arabaviation. The selected candidate will join Flight Training, responsible for conducting approved simulator training as required by the Company.
- Conducting Simulator Training;
- Conducting Instructor Training;
- Conducting Progress Reviews in the simulator when approved by the TM;
- Assessing the need for additional or remedial training for any pilot;
- Recommending to the TM any changes that may enhance efficiency;
- Safety or the quality of training;
- Recommending standardised procedures and teaching techniques for all Training Captains, and Flight Crew Technical Instructors to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures;
- Participating in the Pilot Recruitment process as required;
- Conducting ground school lectures as required;
- Carrying out office duties, projects, course development and other tasks as allocated by the TM.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) or Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE), your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting simulator checks and validations;
- Delivering instructor training and examiner training;
- Completing reports and assessments on flight crew under training or check;
- Ensuring compliance with GCAA and Emirates requirements;
- Recommending additional or remedial training for pilots;
- Enhancing the quality of training and safety;
- Developing and implementing standardised procedures;
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals;
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the training program.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A professional licence acceptable to the GCAA;
- A minimum of 1500 hours flying experience as a pilot on a multi-crew aircraft;
- Three years of previous instructional experience;
- Experience conducting flight crew training in a simulator environment;
- Prior completion of the simulator content of the applicable type rating course at a flight training organization.
