Data Analyst

Our client is a leading global investor, based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking for a Data Analyst to come into the Value Creation team - working across investment strategies, allocations, and analysis of the Capital Solutions portfolio. This position will work closely with investment teams.
What the job involves
- Conducting analysis of the Capital Solutions portfolio to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Helping to formulate investment strategy and allocations to maximize returns.
- Managing the portfolio roll-up model and updating portfolio data across internal databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Monitoring and analyzing investment contributions and distributions to optimize portfolio performance.
- Preparing cash flow forecasts to inform investment decisions.
- Working across all internal functions, ensuring smooth operation between front, middle, and back office.
- Interacting with the fund's central data mining functions and helping with the establishment of data mining protocols to improve data quality and insights.
- Coordinating key performance metrics with benchmark data providers, and monitoring data from external service providers to ensure alignment with investment goals.
Who we are looking for
- Experience in a Credit / Hedge / Private Equity fund or Asset Management firm.
- Experience in data consolidation projects.
- Experience analyzing portfolio positions, forecasting cash flows.
- Strong ability in managing data aggregation and analysis projects.
- Good quantitative, accounting, finance, and data analytics experience.
- Prior experience interacting with front office teams on a regular basis.
- A degree from a top-tier university, ideally within business or a quantitative focused discipline.
