You will be part of Emocien's Advisory Committee, contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and practices that promote continuously improving inclusion and safeguarding.

As a remote worker, you will operate from a location that suits your needs. You will work for 16 hours per year at $50.00 per hour. Your primary responsibilities include:

  1. Contributing to Emocien's policies and procedures;
  2. Attending Advisory Committee meetings and actively participating in discussions;
  3. Enhancing and improving Emocien's Resource Centre;
  4. Creating engaging content, including blog posts, to educate other Emocien Members on mental health issues and effective management strategies.

You must possess relevant experience, particularly in identifying resources, participating in management meetings, and constructing online content.

To be successful, you will be an expert in one of the more commonly occurring mental health issues, either through clinical qualifications or lived experience. Emocien values and seeks both forms of expertise.

You should have the necessary skills and experience to perform this role effectively. Relevant experience gained elsewhere is essential.

Understanding the importance of staying within your area of expertise and collaborating constructively with Emocien colleagues and members is crucial.
