About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Art Director to join our team at myGwork - LGBTQ+ Business Community. As a key member of our Creative & Design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative photography concepts from ideation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate strategy into compelling imagery, crafting creative concepts that meet a high bar and reflect leadership expectations.
  • Run all art direction tasks associated with our internal imaging studio, from concept development to final delivery.
  • Provide clear communication to partner teams and the internal studio team.
  • Act as a positive owner/team player who does not hesitate to jump in when additional support is needed.

About the Team

The Creative & Design team is an award-winning, self-directed center of excellence providing end-to-end customer experiences for NA Stores and Prime. We shape Amazon's retail future by integrating strategy, innovative technology, and user experience to create solutions and exploratory studies that innovate for our businesses.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in an Art Direction or Graphic Design role.
  • 6+ years of managing workflows, agency partnerships, and complex design campaigns and programs.
  • 6+ years of photo art direction.
  • 6+ years of experience managing multiple design projects, requests, and scheduling in a fast-paced environment.
  • 6+ years of professional experience collaborating with creative and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote.
  • Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research, and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions.
  • Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery.
  • Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
