About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Professional to join our team at Unique Taj HR Consultancy. As an Assistant Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in handling day-to-day cash management activities and assisting the treasury team in monitoring and following up on trade finance activities.

Daily Cash Management:

  • Ensure timely repatriation of funds to group treasury
  • Maintain minimum cash balance locally and at every month's end with explanations for any cash imbalance
  • Manage petty cash, corporate cards, E-dirhams, and cars handling and reconciliation
  • Upload Toyota Global netting system data in a timely manner
  • Integrate daily bank statements in Kyriba, correct codification, and resolve any issues identified
  • Reconcile treasury forecast with actual in Kyriba
  • Saving and circulating daily bank statements with the accounting team and communicating receipts to relevant teams internally
  • Preparing payments to suppliers/sending CFEs and payments in SignNow

Reporting and Follow-up:

  • Prepare monthly cash flow forecast and assist senior treasurer in gathering information for quarterly cash flow forecast
  • Reconcile actual cash balances vs. forecast to understand variances and improvements required in cash flow forecast
  • Prepare ad-hoc forecasts when required by the company
  • Assist senior treasurer in preparing quarterly HFM reports required by consolidation
  • Update interest rates (e.g., Bank SOFR, JIBAR) for reporting and interest calculation purposes
  • Reconcile treasury current account balances and relevant interest with group treasury

Trade Finance:

  • Support senior treasurer in collecting data for trade finance report preparation
  • Maintain daily SBLC and credit limits consumption monitoring
  • Act as backup for senior treasurer during absences
  • Support other departments in trade finance-related queries and follow-ups with banks
  • Ccoordinate with banks for LC terms review and confirmation, finding relevant banking schemes
  • Preparation of related parts for cash management and trade finance meetings
  • FOLLOW UP of bank fees related to LCs and SBLCs and ensuring charges align with agreements

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, trade finance, and other treasury verticals
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
  • Thorough knowledge of Kyriba and ERP systems related to treasury
  • Proficient in Microsoft products like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Proven experience of 2-3 years in a related field
