Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Limited. As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of service, including drink preparation, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues, managers, and guests to ensure smooth service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess a strong knowledge of coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working as a Barista in a luxury property or high-end establishment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and European or Arabic language.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: Barista certification or equivalent preferred.
