We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Detailer to join our team at Perfection Metal Industries LLC. As a detailer, you will be responsible for creating detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed structural shop drawings such as Plans, Schedule, Sections and connections using AutoCAD
  • Generate fabrication drawings and material lists from the models
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs
  • Use industry standards and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency of designs
  • Communicate with fabricators and contractors to ensure successful fabrication and construction of structures
  • Review and analyze project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance
  • Participate in design and construction meetings as needed
  • Continuously update and improve skills and knowledge of Tekla Structures software and industry trends
