We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Engineer to join our team at KBR, Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of contracts procedures and management directives towards achieving project objectives. This includes guiding the project contracts team in developing and installing project-specific contracts procedures and reporting systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract drafting and negotiation, with experience in leading the preparation and drafting of contracts for engineering projects. They will also have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, contractors, or clients.
In addition, the successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of risk management and mitigation, including identifying and assessing potential risks in the contract and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in contract administration and management, budget and cost control, stakeholder communication and coordination, and contract closeout.
