Position Overview:
As an Electrical Systems Operations Manager, you will oversee the electrical and instrumentation functions within our facility, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of an Associate's degree in electrical or mechanical technology, or a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance within a power generation environment.
  • Thorough comprehension of all activities related to the Electrical & Instrumentation department, along with familiarity with the plant's equipment and the techniques, materials, tools, and machinery utilized in the repair and upkeep of such systems.
  • A solid background of 5-10 years in the maintenance of power generation systems, components, and equipment.
  • Experience in waste-to-energy operations is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading mechanical or electrical maintenance teams.
  • Proficient in the operation and maintenance of electrical systems ranging from high voltage (13kV) to low voltage (120V), including motor control centers, load centers, circuit breakers, motors, and related controls.
  • Experience with medium or large turbine generators, along with their instrumentation and control systems.
  • Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), particularly Emerson Ovation systems or comparable technologies.
  • Knowledge of fire detection and suppression system controls is beneficial.
