Job Description

Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing process systems for our oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop process systems for oil and gas projects
  • Conduct process simulations using HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, PipeNet, and Pipesim
  • Develop process designs and specifications, including PFDs, P&IDs, and other process deliverables
  • Carry out detailed calculations to develop process designs and ensure accuracy
  • Undertake dynamic simulation studies, transient studies, and surge studies
  • Design and develop flare systems and estimate flare loads
  • Ensure that designs are carried out in accordance with industry standards and quality management systems
  • Participate in PHA, HAZOP, and other safety reviews
  • Mentor and train junior engineers in the team
  • Identify and report issues that impede project progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, including 5 years in the GCC region
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, managing a team of engineers and designers
  • Offshore experience is a must, while ADNOC experience is desired
  • Proficient in process simulation software such as HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, PipeNet, and Pipesim
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
